About Us

Gordon Turner from Kyle, Saskatchewan founded G.A. Turner Transport in 1964, delivering general freight and bulk petroleum products in the Kyle area. In 1983, the company was taken over, moved to Saskatoon and the name changed to Turner Transport Ltd.

While transportation of bulk petroleum products remained a large part of the business, Turner’s identified a void in the local heavy equipment transportation market. Equipment was purchased and put into operation to meet that need, and as that need for heavy transportation grew, bulk commodities transport was phased out giving way to focus on specialized heavy equipment transportation.

In 2008, Turner Transport had out grown it’s current building and decided to purchase property and build a new facility to accommodate the expanding size of the company and the equipment that goes with it.

Heavy Haul

With a fleet ranging from 5 axle flat decks to 13 axle steerable dollies, we can find the solution to get your pieces safely from A to B.

Low Bed

We provide all your lowbed equipment needs. Our drivers stay in full and constant contact, so you always know where your shipment is.

Rail Equipment

Our drivers have the experience to move railroad repair equipment with the on time pick up and delivery that is required for the industry.

Skid Shacks

We have numerous trombone extendable trailers to move either skidded or frameless camp shacks, office trailers and lavatories. Whether you are looking to move 1 unit or a complete camp, we can accommodate your transportation needs.

Tilt Deck, RGN and Folders

From C-containers to excavators and everything in between, we have the answer to move your equipment. We are self contained and able to load and unload your equipment at ground level

Farm Equipment

Combines, tractors and high clearance sprayers are just a few of the things that we can move with our double drop agriculture trailers with pull outs.
